Dr. Abhishek Joshi, Co-founder and MD of Ayurveda Loka in Wayanad, Kerala, brings with him over two decades of deep clinical experience—rooted not just in knowledge, but in a genuine passion for healing. With qualifications including BAMS, MD, and a PhD in Ayurveda, his journey reflects a rare blend of academic excellence and lived wisdom. What truly sets him apart, however, is the personal connection he builds with every patient who walks through his doors. His decade-long experience in Bali as Chair of Ayurveda shaped his global perspective, where he also embraced and integrated the traditional “Usada Bali” healing system. Having treated patients from more than 40 countries, he understands that every individual’s path to healing is unique. Dr. Joshi’s approach is both precise and compassionate - combining authentic Vedic Ayurvedic principles with a thoughtful, evidence-based modern outlook. As a certified yoga therapist, he goes beyond symptom management, guiding patients through a balanced integration of body, mind, and lifestyle. Each consultation is deeply personalized. He carefully designs treatment plans using powerful herbal medicines, tailored diets, pranayama, and meditation, helping patients address the root cause of their concerns—not just the surface symptoms. Patients often describe his care as transformative - not only for physical recovery, but for the clarity and confidence it brings in understanding their own bodies. His goal is simple yet profound: to help individuals reconnect with their natural ability to heal. Dr. Aparna

Co-Founder and Sr. Physician

Dr. Aparna serves as senior physician and medical director at Purnayoo Arogya Nikethanam, Wayanad. She balances her hours at the hospital with online consultations for patients from across the world. As founding physician, Dr. Aparna was instrumental in setting up South East Asia's leading Ayurveda Center, OneWorld Ayurveda in Bali, Indonesia. She is the Co-Founder of Vaidya Ayurveda and has helped formulate innovative Ayurvedic products. In her childhood, watching the long hours her father spent with his patients, Aparna wasn’t entirely convinced that healthcare was her true calling, but she has since embraced her family practice, and developed her own approach to healing — bringing compassion, candour and humour to her daily interactions.

Cancellation Policy

1. The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation of Ayurvedic programs or services. but it can be used within a year of payment, in case there are any changes in arrival dates. 2. Full Payment Refunds (if full payment has been made in advance for Ayurvedic programs, retreats, or services): 99% refund if you cancel more than 8 weeks before the start date of the program, after deducting applicable bank transfer charges. 50% refund if you cancel between 30 and 59 days before the program's start date, after deducting applicable bank transfer charges. No refund if you cancel within 30 days of the program start date or after the program has commenced.

Please note that the deposit is non-refundable. However, up to 100% of the deposit may be credited towards a future Panchakarma treatment within 12 months.
